According to an ad in the latest Cycle Canada, Moto Guzzi are back in Canada to stay. The Moto Guzzi Canada site is now working at www.motoguzzi-canada.ca
A few days ago Piaggio Group Americas sent me an e-mail touting new low interest rate financing for Guzzis, but I’m still waiting for a reply to my return e-mail asking about Canadian dealers.
A friend called around a few dealers trying to find out who’s still dealing and what they’re selling.
It seems that Motoretta are still functioning but “will only be bringing in new Guzzis as required”. Seven View have a couple of Guzzis left on the floor but they seem unlikely to get any more. I believe that Ben’s in Peterborough (formerly Classy Chassis) will bring bikes in to order. Vespa KW say it’s “business as usual”, I guess you’ll have to find out what that means, and Inglis, in London, say they will support Guzzi owners, but if things don’t improve they will drop the line. Not sure about Gearhead, in Ottawa.
So my advice is to call around, try the website. It’s never been easy owning a Moto Guzzi in Ontario and it doesn’t look like it’s getting any easier!

I am not sure what the official line is on parts and service for the older Guzzi models, so Williamsville Ducati and GT Motors, just across the border in Holland, New York and Lansing Michigan respectively, will be willing to help you if you need it.
